MixRoots Radio!

MixRoots Radio began its live broadcast and podcasting from June 28th. We will feature mixed roots artists, researchers and professionals from the academia, students, community leaders and many others for insightful discussion on mixed roots issues both personal and technical such as legal issues. The first interview will feature second generation Vietnamese refugee "boat people" rapper and community activist, J-Nam MC. Second interview will feature Professor Lilian Terumi Hatano from Konan Women's University, Multicultural Co-living Center.

The MixRoots Charity Hip Hop concert at Kawasaki Club Citta and its participating artists will be introduced on a documentary on the National Broadcasting Corporation (NHK Sogo) channel on July 19th from 22:25 PM on a programme called "Documentary: Nippon no Genba". Check it out!

Kip Fulbeck, author and photographer of the famed "Part Asian, 100% Hapa" photo book offers free mini-exhibition for Mischlingroove Charity Art Events in September 2007 and June 2008　Seaweed Productions

Kip will also participate as chief judge for the International Mixed Roots Essay and Art contest taking place in spring of 2009. Winners will be announced at Shake Forward! 2009 in July!
